A Masurian Residence in the Spirit of “Quiet Luxury”

This Masurian residence, designed by the JT GRUPA studio, is a showcase of top-tier architecture. The house sits on a picturesque, several-hectare plot directly on the lake’s shoreline. The design reflects the high-end “Quiet Luxury” standard – it impresses with its craftsmanship and quality materials, avoiding ostentatious opulence.

The interiors are defined by a dialogue of fine craftsmanship and natural structures. The heart of the ground floor is the kitchen, where high-quality Miele appliances are masterfully hidden behind wooden cabinetry. The woodwork is perfectly complemented by an oak dining table and an icon of global design – a traditional La Cornue stove in a deep olive shade. The space gains a gallery-like character thanks to a unique ceramic installation and carefully selected lighting from British manufacturers Porta Romana and Bert Frank, and American Roll & Hill.

One of the most spectacular architectural features is the residence’s underground zone. A subterranean brick corridor leads first to a private wine cellar, and then to the sauna. Its fully glazed, panoramic wall opens directly onto the lake, connecting the architecture with the Masurian landscape and offering direct access to a private jetty.
